One early morning, the Albertson family was getting ready for their annual vacation. “Ok kids, this year your father and I have picked to go to Nevada for our trip this year!”. Happily, the kids dreamed of a luxury hotel and a casino but to their surprise it was no luxury hotel. The were staying in a surprisingly-great cabin.
It was not like the others. The rest of the cabins were old and run-down but this one was in great shape! They explored the cabin and found out that there were nice furniture. However, something about the cabin was off. One of the children, Milly, was walking through the living room when she saw a dusty picture of a family. They were all so happy like they were very close with each other. “Hey, come check this out!” shouted Milly to her family. Hurriedly, they all came over to see. Milly suddenly noticed they weren’t all smiling anymore. Only the youngest boy was smiling. “I could’ve sworn they were all smiling!” said Milly. “I don’t know what you’re talking about “ said her older sister Heather. “Get some sleep, honey” replied her mother “You’re just tired”.

“I see you’ve chosen the Aldridge cabin” said the old man. “The Aldridge cabin?” answered Heather. “Yes, it is said that 15 years ago, the Aldridge family stayed in this cabin for a week. Many say the next day they were murdered except for the little boy but nobody seems to know who killed them”. “What happened to the little boy?’ asked Milly. “Well” said the old man. “Many say he escaped and found a family to take care of him”. “Well, thank you for your time” said their mother, Mrs. Albertson. “Mom, it’s real!” shouted Milly. “No it’s not.” replied Heather.
