Can you imagine having a diamond necklace in your desk when you did not put it in there? “The Kidnappers” by Willo Davis Robets and “Milo and Jazz" by Lewis B Montgomery were both good books to read. The characters in "Milo and Jazz” were better than the characters in “The Kidnappers”. The characters were more honest, relatable, and curious. The first reason the characters in “Milo and Jazz” were better is because they were honest. In the book, Milo could always be trusted because he turned that necklace into the police instead of stealing the necklace. In the book, his family said he stole it but he said it was in his desk and somebody put it in there. The reasoning is to be honest when somebody is telling you that you did something wrong but you did not. In “The Kidnappers”, Joey was known for being a liar. In the book, Milo and Jazz were curious about who put the diamond necklace in Milo's desk. The reason to be curious is you are a mysterious person and you want to know what's happening. Another part of Milo being curious is when he goes to every one of his friends' houses trying to find who put it in Milo's desk. The reasoning for that sentence is Milo being more childish trying to find who put that necklace in his desk. In the “Kidnappers” Joey was shown being curious when he wanted to know who kidnapped Willie. The reasoning is when Willie was always being mean to Joey but that did not stop him from letting him get kidnapped. These reasons show you that the characters in Milo and Jazz” were more
