Miss Caroline Fisher Character Analysis

Miss Caroline Fisher: Miss Caroline Fisher is a new, unfamiliar face to the students of a school in Macomb County, Alabama. Fisher is an elementary school teacher who is bewildered of the ways of the people living in the town. As Fisher makes her first appearance in the novel, she is portrayed as a very generous person and this is evident through the acts that she performs. “Miss Caroline went to her desk and opened her purse. ‘Here’s a quarter,’ she said to Walter. ‘Go and eat downtown today.
