Mistreatment of Prisoners
We see police brutality every once In a while, we are able to see it happening by the body cams on the officer or bystanders recording the incident happening on their phones. Most people do not see, hear, or even think about what goes on inside the prisons. We do not see every day the mistreatment and abuse these prisoners are going through. A lot of prisoners are being physically and mentally abused by other inmates and by correctional officers. In this paper, I'm going to identify who is affected and who affects this issue with the mistreatment of prisoners and explain why the values that motivate their beliefs.

Sometimes even the prisoners and the correctional officers team up and help hurt other inmates. While the prisoners are beating up one of their inmates the officers will act like nothing is happening. The inmates who report abuse and file a lawsuit against the prison most of them lose. Due to the fact that some prisons are hiding or covering up what they did, even the staff members. Inmates who go through this abuse such as physical, mental, or verbal face many mental struggles and have a hard time emotionally. Inmates are abused daily and it can go on for many years and no one will help them. Some inmates are in there for something small but when put in prison they have to face something way more extensive than what they are in there for and put into a violent environment.
