Any car enthusiast can look at that title and know what this is all about, The end of a rivalry. The Subaru Impreza WRX STi and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, two cars known for their world rally performances, raw power, and for being an affordable performance beast. These cars have been playing cat and mouse for over twentyfive years. They have similar performance numbers as in lap times, AWD, 0-60 times and around 300 horsepower, it's the biggest rivalry in the car world, and it finally came to an end. In 2015 it was announced that the Mitsubishi Evolution would be discontinued. There would be one last Evo in 2015 labeled “Final Edition” only 1,600 units would be produced in the United States. Mitsubishi decided to discontinue the Evolution because they have branded themselves as “manufacturer of eco-friendly vehicles, concentrating its resources toward developing electric and hybrid cars”. This is the dumbest thing i've ever heard. They created this car in 1992 and it's been the face of Mitsubishi for almost thirty years now this car was the reason Mitsubishi got fame winning race after race in the World Rally Championship. Even though the STi has its own colors (blue and gold) ,the Evo doesn't need its own because it looks great in any color. It has meaner styling and it looks like a sleeper, anyone would look at you and think it's just a regular sedan, but then you drop a gear and disappear and I promise you they will never mess with you again. 2015 Sti is just a copycat of an Evo but does a horrible job at it. The car just looks like a Toyota Corolla with a huge wing in the back, It's Ugly.
