Both Modern Christianity and the Islam religions carry out the expression of religious faith traditions and honour the mission and vision of their founders Jesus and Muhammad. They both accomplish the traditional worship and rituals which shows that both religions have followed the teachings of their founders. Vision can be defined as the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be, like a prophetic vision; the vision of an entrepreneur. Both Jesus and Muhammad had the vision of carrying out justice and peace and to live in the spirit of God. Jesus and Muhammad were set forth on a mission. The word religion can be explained as a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs (BBC, 2002). There are many different views on the purpose of religion. This may be hope, a symbol of control, to connect society and unify people, to explain illogical suffering, to set guidelines to live and ease the concern of death. It was founded and revealed to the people by the prophet Muhammad in Mecca now known as Saudi Arabia. The Islam religion is in fact not a new religion, but the same truth that God revealed through all his prophets. Islam is the second largest religion in the world with more than 1.5 billion followers from a vast range of nationalities, races and cultures from across the world. about 18% of the 1.5 billion live in the Arab world with the largest Muslim community being situated in Indonesia. Just like Christianity, the Islam religion is also separated into branches with the Sunni Islam being the largest in population. Muhammad's vision and mission on earth was to spread the word of God and tell everyone that there was only one God (Allah) and they should only follow him and his rules.
