Everyone reacts differently when a certain circumstance occurs. The characters in The Monkey’s Paw are a perfect example of this statement. The story The Monkey’s Paw by W.W. Jacobs is about a family called the Whites. When the Whites are given a strange talisman, they are granted three wishes.
