Three years passed after my dear friend Boxer was killed. By then everyone, except the few animals who are actually intelligent, had forgotten him. Not much changed after his death; our “great leader” Napoleon and the pigs were still abusing their power, although in the new generation of pigs I had begun to see some changes. Some of the pigs were much kinder and seemed to legitimately care for the well being of the other animals. I suspected that this had something to do with Clover.
The previous year Clover was retired from the hard labor, but was reassigned to child care. She was in charge of all the children, including the pigs. Originally the pigs had planned on disposing of Clover since she was no longer an “asset.” As soon as I had heard this piece of news I quickly gathered all the discriminating evidence of the pigs wrongs and threatened them in a way to make it seem they would lose their power. As all of the pigs were panicking, Napoleon looked me calmly in the eye and asked me what I wanted.
After that incident the pigs seemed to avoid me and came across as being afraid of me. I couldn’t help but snicker whenever this happens. The other animals picked up on this as well and

I was sure that the pigs had just gotten drunk again, so I payed no attention to the noise and continued to work. Moments later Squealer came running up to us looking frantic.
“Napoleon has died!” he squealed. Immediately all the animals started to wail.
“How will we survive?” “Who will lead us?” “All is lost!”
The wailing went on well into the night with a funeral planned for the next day. While everyone was mourning us intelligent animals held a meeting about what would happen to the farm now.
“Surely the humans will hear and try to take the farm.” Proclaimed Muriel.
“No they won’t. Nothing will change except the name of out tyrant” I said. We continued discussing matters until late at
