PROLOGUE. “ his story has been a tragedy in the making since his arrival to this earth — destined to a lone teenage mother who never wanted him. ”

when a child is born, they let out their first sign of life — a cry. their mother is there to hush their small cries with the soothing sound of her voice, but unfortunately for little taeoh his story doesn’t start with such a luxury. the day he enters the world, dark clouds start to form in the sky above with droplets of rain that drizzle down from above pattering against the hospital’s window. his mother’s in a fit of agony, sobbing as she endures pain in order for her sweet baby boy to finally greet the world. with one finally push and scream from his dear mother, taeoh makes his grand entrance …show more content…

EPILOGUE. “ he believes that his story has come to an near end, but a new chapter is written instead. ”

the past four years has been quite a journey for the twenty-three year old. it’s been years since he’s cut off communication from his family and been living on his own. it’s also been years since he’s gotten rid of the pain of not being good enough. he fills his broken art dreams with new dreams. where he paints his body with tattoos, lets his lungs be filled with smoke, his veins be pumped with countless number of drugs he can’t remember the name of and has a new person in his bed almost every night. he’s living a life where he’s not needed, a life where he doesn’t have to be good enough for anyone.

his new life is seemingly easy — till’ the night of the meteor shower.

there’s only a few things he remembers about that night. his band had just finished their last gig for the night, when taeoh finds himself in an anxious mood for an unknown reason. he reaches the back alley where he finds a place behind the dumpster to light his cigarette. with his back now against the cold brick wall, a smoke dangling out from the corner of his mouth, he raises his gaze to watch the sky above and before he passes out, all he can think of is how beautiful “ alice ” would look on a blank
