The Monroe Doctrine written by one of the former President, name James Monroe. On December 2, 1823, during the State of the Union Address for the 5th President; James Monroe, this is where he brought forward the Monroe Doctrine. The Monroe doctrine announces the United States’ Policy for the new developing plan he have planned, and want to see go forward for Americas and Europe in the Western Hemisphere. This development that the Secretary of the State John Quincy Adam also help President James Monroe create a Foreign Policy that switch America connection with world. The first point that made was for the United States to not get involved with any of the European activities. Next, he later stated that the United States should not hinder the European colonies that located in the Western Hemisphere. Monroe also made it known that no other nation could not arrange no new colony in Western Hemisphere. The last point that made was if the European nation to force or intervene with the nation that is located in the Western Hemisphere, the United States would aspect that this act is opposed against the nation. By reading this four basic tenets, it shows that President Monroe, want the United States to stay to itself, and not to be involved with the European nation, because it could be a disaster to the United States. During the Napoleonic wars, the United States had to oppose recently with the military and the economic France. The root of the Monroe Doctrine formed by several attempts from the European powers to make their influence in the Americas during the beginning of the 1820s. Also, in the North America, Russia had tried to spread its influence in the Alaska Territory and also in South and Central America.
