Deputy Superintendent Taylor introduced several students from Quail Run and Live Oak Elementary to share some of the things happening on their campuses to prevent bullying.
Assistant Superintendent Keith Rogenski stated that 117 district certificated and classified managers will be honored for their leadership, dedication and accomplishment the week of October 8th.
Board members shared their thanks and praise of the district managers noting the long hours they work and the care they have for the students and staff. They noted that the ratio of admin to students is one of the lowest is the states.

She has also attending three of the Superintendent’s fall parent meetings and found them to be fabulous. She enjoys how Superintendent Schmitt engages with the community and the questions are fantastic. Parents have been reflective of the bigger picture in addition to looking at their own families. The TRAFFIX Board of Directors received the proposal from First Student for a one-year extension, which will allow the District to move forward with a study on being the future provider of service.
Board Vice President Mintz attended a meeting at the Contra Costa County College District at the DVC San Ramon campus. He feels there is an opportunity for the District to build the collaboration with the community college district.
