The reader's mood affected the author’s use of tone because it is telling them how the book is. It’s supposed to be a book so they made it about a house being able to take care of itself and it did scary stuff. So I think that this book is a scary book because everything else had blew up and that house was the only house still perfect and it changed the author’s mood to happy and normal to scary and horrifying and the house had time’s to do the stuff it needed to do. At 7 o’clock it had to wake up, at 8:01 it’s off to work, and it’s off to school at 10:00 the house was the only house still perfect because at 10 o’clock that’s when everything started to burn and was in ashes but at 12 o’clock a dog was whining and shivering at the front door
