Moon Shadow is nine years old when he is asked to travel to the america with his cousin Hand Clap.Hand Clap gave him a letter from his father then they went to america. Moon Shadow goes to america with Hand Clap then they go into a warehouse. There was a lot of people in the warehouse then Hand Clap showed Moon Shadow his father and Moon Shadow ran to him then hugged him. They called Moon Shadows father Windrider. When Moon Shadow was in america he didnt see the mountains made out of gold and he got dissapointed. Then he met the tang people in america. Windrider shows Moon Shadow his room. Windrider went to go look for Black Dog then Moon Shadow followed him without him knowing. Windrider and Black Dog fought then another man was about to shoot Windrider and Moon Shadow tackled him. Windrider and Moon Shadow move to the poor part of the demon city because they were in danger. They meet miss. Whitlaw. She shows them a dragon on a stained glass. She said that dragons were mean and killed and stole money just for fun. Moon Shadow didn’t agree on how they thought of dragons but him and his father went along with their beliefs. Then she started playing the piano. Moon shadow worked very hard. When Moon Shadow was taking out the trash the demon children beat him up. He started to curse at them in tang language. The next day he had to work really fast and quietly before the demon children beat him up again. Windrider let Moon Shadow have half an hour off each day. Moon Shadow went to go visit Miss. Whitlaw. He taught her how the tang drank tea. Moon Shadow showed Robin the flying machine. He told her when it flies it feels like a dream. After that all four of them went on a picnic. Then Robin started flying. It was hard for her at first but then she got the hang of it. It was fun for her. It got destroyed but Windrider said he will make more
