After reading both More and More Students Suffer From Anxiety and In Afghanistan, School Is a Luxury That Many Working Children Cannot Afford. I have learned that Children struggle no matter what situation they are in. With the more wealthy children struggle more and more with mental illness every day. With the less wealthy there are children working at very young ages just to provide for their families.
With the wealthy, there are side effects of the pressure of higher expectations over teens and kids. Such as having mental breakdowns, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and social phobia. Which is all sorts of mental illnesses. The article More and More Students Suffer From Anxiety states that their parents are having trouble believing their children have a mental illness. When kids are open to adults they need to listen to their needs. There are many mental health issues in this country because of how high the expectation is. Specialists are also seeing mental illness in younger children as well. In the less wealthy countries such as Afghanistan, children have to go to work sometimes starting at the age of six years old. Another way to help is even therapy and cutting off all social media if it causes someone to stress out. As most kids see school as something they hate some kids wish they could go and get an education. Like the Children in Afghanistan. Some children do go to night school but it is not the same experience as going to school every day as a normal kid would. I think that all kids should get an education so they can get a good high paying job. So they can provide for their families. I also believe that women should be able to work. They are at home doing things while their kids are having to work and not be able to go to
