Motivation In Today's Marine Corps

In today’s Marine Corps, motivation is necessary in nearly every climb and place. Motivation is the sub-conscious way of inspiring Marines to have the desire and intestinal fortitude to drive forward in everyday tasks. Countless tasks in the Marine Corps need a special push from deep down in order for the tasks to get completed. Physical fitness, leadership and combat training are the major areas that the Marines practice motivation on a regular basis. Motivation is used in physical fitness on a routine basis and the Marine Corps is required to conduct physical fitness at least five times a week. Consequently, during physical fitness, it can be extremely challenging and require a vast amount of motivation. Marines love going to the gym to stay physically fit, and ensure that they are ready to fight at all times. During normal monthly counseling's Marines are obligated to set personal goals and the vast majority select physical fitness. Working out at the gym allows the Marines to concentrate on areas of their bodies that need improvement. Motivation can push the Marines to their limits and to assist them in reaching their goals. During the training phase Marines need to motivate themselves to train as they fight. The training can be rigorous at times, and Marines need to reach down deep to complete the mission. Although Marines train for combat in various locations around the world, the majority of the places that a multitude of people would stay away from; Marines seem to push towards these areas. Motivation has to be present for the Marines to endure all the insanity thrown at them during training.
