Then you have some that are still bad and deal with drugs, killing, etc. Those can give people a bad idea of other motorcycle clubs. The NYPD filed a complaint earlier this month in Brooklyn Supreme Court seeking the EFFECTS OF MOTORCYCLE CLUBS 4 closure of God 's Only Demons Motorcycle Club on Butler Street off Fourth Avenue, calling it a dangerous "public nuisance" in court filings. The club was the scene of the 78th Precinct 's only homicide of 2012 when a 43-year-old man was shot in the head in front of the club on Oct. 27, according to the city 's legal action, which was filed against the club as well as the building owner, an LLC registered to taxi mogul Evgeny Freidman. A spokesman said Friedman owns the property next door to the club, but not the building housing God 's Only Demons. Some of the clubs end up renting clubs on the bad side of town which gives the public a bad idea of the clubs. with these poor places they rent it cause the public to think that they are gangs and do a bunch of illegal stuff, but in reality the do not. Most of these clubs raise money for charities. They support these charities. Some of the charities are for finding a cure for cancer, poverty, hunger and children diseases, but most of all they support disabled veterans. They support these veterans because a lot of the motorcycle club members are veterans and served at one point in time. They know trouble of going back to normal life after serving. These charities are the reason why a lot of the members join the
