Mountain Gorillas And Tarsiers Similarities

The biggest difference between mountain gorillas and tarsiers are their physical appearance. For mountain gorillas, they possess the massive body size giving them the title of one of the biggest species in the world, whereas tarsiers are smallest species even among prosimians. Other than their physical appearance, the social interaction between two groups show distinctive difference. For instance, social interaction with each other is kind of a crucial for mountain gorillas; they mostly live with their own group members, they sleep, eating, and grooming together. Tarsiers, on the other hand, though they sometimes stay with a few individuals, that is not a common characteristic for them. Regardless of many distinctions between them, they have showed the great similarities of the way they care their offspring. For both groups, how they care their infants is both similar as like we humans care our baby. After giving birth, for both groups, their commitment for infants are incredibly devoted, loved, and sentimentally valued. A lot of remarkable behaviors of mountain gorillas have been spotted by researchers. One of the researches took place by Explore Documentary Films in 2015, they captured extraordinary behaviors of mountain gorillas in Rwanda National Park. One of the researchers in a group said that, "...you see a lot of human characteristics that genetically we're 98.67% the same as most great apes and so very strong link between humans and our great ape cousins." Further, we humans have adapted the traits of eyesight, sense of smell, and social interaction from gorillas. In addition to those resemblances, the way mountain gorillas express their feelings are similar as well.
