The movie shows Bryan Mills as a one-man rescue squad, an expert of every skill who is on a mission to save his daughter. Taken shows a galvanizing and an incredibly shocking insight into the world of human trafficking, drug abuse, and prostitution. The movie Taken is not only for fun and enjoyment; it also portrays the theme of a father’s unconditional love for his beloved daughter. Bryan Mills, a former CIA agent as well as a soft-hearted father. Trying to win his daughters affection Mills, knowing all about the evil world unwillingly agrees to let his 17-year-old daughter, Kim, go to the France with her friend Amanda. The trip goes terribly wrong and Bryan Mills is petrified to hear that she is kidnapped by an Albanian gang whose specialty is in human trafficking. With only 96 hours to go before he'll never find his beloved daughter again, Bryan rushes to France to save her. Shot underneath a bed in a simple furnished room with minimal lighting and just the sound of Bryan Mills’ monotone voice over the phone is where the story actually begins. Instantly, the agent inside Bryan takes over and like a pit-bull goes in to strike. The dialogues were cleverly thought up and set an intense tone for the audience. This scene displayed the father’s love for his daughter and it showed that Mills would go to any extent to keep Kim safe.
