“Come on Sydney, hurry up,” shouted Sydney’s mom. Sydney woke up feeling dazed and looked at her clock it was 6:30 a.m! She woke up seeing the sky in the darkest shade of blue.
“Why do I have to wake up so early?” questioned Sydney.
“Remember, today is moving day,” her mom reminded her. Sydney quickly remembered that today she was going to move to the U.S. with her family only to leave Canada behind.
As she was done getting ready, Sydney headed downstairs towards her mom. James, Sydney’s younger brother, and Audrey Sydney’s older sister, were both eating dinner downstairs. Sydney grabbed herself a bowl, some milk, and her favorite cereal. This is her last meal in Canada.
“Sydney the moving truck will come at 8:00 a.m. you better hurry and bring your stuff downstairs!” Sydney’s dad exclaimed.

They first decided to go to their friends house so they drove Sydney and her siblings to two of their best friends house, and if they had time after going to their relatives house, they would stop at more of their friends house.
Sydney’s parents dropped her off at her best friends Emma. Sydney rang the doorbell once no one came so she rang it one more time then she saw Emma running down the stairs in her PJ’s. Sydney told Emma and gave her a BFF bracelet that she bought for her. Then Emma told her that she had something for her she gave Sydney a BFF necklace “Emma have to email and video and we have to stay in contact with each other.” “yea” Emma replied “I was just about to say that.” Then hugged, said bye, and then Sydney had to leave.
