To play in the NFL you can't have a sedintary lifestyle. You have to be able to do the bulwark and get things done right. The NFL seems like a utopia to some, but it's not as great as it seems. You have the dynasties like the Patriots and the Broncos that are the diatribes of the league.

What makes someone a hero? Most people would say someone who saves the day or has super powers or even characters in books are heroes. Antigone is a young woman in the play Antigone by Sophocles, Antigone is considered a hero by many for giving up her life for her brother and going against the law in 44 B.C. While Terry Malloy is considered a hero in the movie On the Waterfront for also going against rules. Malloy would be considered a rough kid who got into a bad situation with a group of mugs while working on the dock, not only does he save the day for himself but for others that are working on the docks as well. Antigone and Terry both go against rules for what they believe is right and become heroes.
Maurice Willows: Unsung Hero of the Tulsa Race Riot of 1921 During the early 1900s, African Americans continued their struggle for civil rights on a national scale with seemingly no definitive solution in sight. In the wake of one of the most violent race riots in American history, one man sought to overlook racial differences and the rules of his own organization to provide aid to those in need. Through the leadership of Maurice Willows during the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot, the American Red Cross compromised their mission enabling the organization to be the sole responder, provider of relief, and champion of African American rights. Maurice Willows’ decision to defy the tenets of the Red Cross made him an unsung hero who saved countless lives.
Pete Rose, a voracious competitor, once said “Somebody's gotta win and somebody's gotta lose and I believe in letting the other guy lose.” Regardless of popular belief, Pete Rose is a role model that loved to win. Not only did he love to win but he loved to work and show everyone that he wanted it more than any other guy on the ball field. Pete Rose grew up in Cincinnati Ohio. Harry Rose, also known as "Big Pete", was not only father to Pete Rose but was a boxer, a semipro football player and a hometown hero.

In the stories “Occupation: Conductorette” and “Like the Sun” both protagonist: Angelou and Sekhar used perseverance to help deal with their conflicts. With them using perseverance, it assisted them towards what they wanted to accomplish. Perseverance is a valuable trait to possess because it helps make progress towards goals.

A Soldier’s Dilemma Like many others in his regiment, Henry Fleming, protagonist in The Red Badge of Courage, expects the Battle of Chancellorsville to be filled with heroism and legendary acts of dauntless heroism. Heroism, however, seems nowhere to be found, and Henry is left questioning his own valor. In The Red Badge of Courage, Crane writes Henry Fleming as a flawed yet good-hearted character by revealing his inner thoughts as he runs from the battle, his actions directed toward comrades, and by displaying Henry’s differences at the end of the story to emphasize the inner struggle between courage and cowardice.

Conrad Hill once said “You are always a student, never a master. You have to keep moving forward.” Steve Jobs reiterates this during his 2005 Stanford graduating class commencement speech. In it, Jobs talks to the graduates about his experiences and how they apply to the concept of never giving up. By guiding the audience through events in his life, Jobs encourages them to keep moving forward, and to never settle with what’s been given to them.
