A. Re Opening Statements: The Prosecution has the job of proving that the defendant, Jordan Bratton committed murder in the first degree by killing the victim, Preston Balmen. The evidence that they have which supports their case is as follows. The police found that there were tire tracks behind Preston Balmen’s house, which matched the tires on Jordan Bratton’s car: a maroon 1990’s Buick Century. It was determined by a medical examiner that Preston Balmen had been strangled to death with a cord-like object and that a microphone cord found in Jordan Bratton’s car is most likely the weapon that was used to strangle the victim. The examiner also determined by the way the victim was strangled, that the suspected murderer stood at a similar
Dudley’s statements contained inconsistencies. Further, it led to the belief that Dudley was simply trying to exonerate himself as a witness when giving his statement against Moir. In addition to Dudley, another key witness Mr. Gordon’s statements also had inconsistencies. Gordon claimed that he had given a shovel to Moir prior to Acorn’s death. This may lead the jury to believe that Moir’s involvement in Acorn’s murder was planned and deliberate (para. 27).

Steven Avery is a well known name in the criminal courts and known for many crimes. Burning a family cat, running his cousin off the road and pointing a gun at her, beating and raping Penny Bernsteen. Although his name is quite common, and he has some faults did he really murder Teresa Halbach? I believe that Steven Avery is innocent, he did not do it. A lot of the information and evidence seems to be misleading or deceiving.
Barbara Deppner and her companion, the former foreman of the car-theft ring, Percy House, testified that Kuklinski had told him about both murders. However, this was all circumstantial evidence because it was just a “He said, she said”
After a twelve-hour interrogation, Brenton Butler confessed to the murder of Mary Ann Stephens. A key claim made by the defense attorneys in this case was that this was a false confession, and after reaching a verdict of not guilty, the jury clearly agreed. The factors that led the false confession were laid out in a scene during the documentary. Instead of using the interview to discover the truth, the interrogators specifically sought out a confession from the suspect. They began the interrogation with the presumption that Brenton Butler was guilty.
The reasons and evidence all conclude that Mr. Bennet did not murder Mr. Adams. Mr. Alfaro is an exterminator and the rat poison is only available to exterminators, Mrs. Reid thought if Mr. Adams died then she would have all the money he owned and his new mansion, and Mr. Adams could have killed himself because of his bad eyesight. I urge you to find that the defendant, Mr. Bennet, should be found not

Although he is faced with challenging students and cruel teachers, Mr. Warren stays kind.
Witness for the Prosecution “The ultimate mystery is one’s own self” (Sammy Davis Jr.). Mysteries have an allure that keep audiences intrigued and engaged on what will happen next. “Witness for the prosecution”, originally written by Agatha Christie, is no different in the sense that both the short story and visual adaption keep the audience on the edge of their seat as the apprehensive story unfolds. Although the storyline for the short story and movie adaptions both follow the same repertoire, there are a vast number of significant differences that keep the audience entertained and in suspense of what is to come next.
The thick line between humanity and savagery that is portrayed by the formation of civilization is nothing but an illusion. As seen in the book, The Road, the line that separates humanity and savagery is in reality paper thin. Through the use of a post apocalyptic setting, Cormac McCarthy manipulates the sense of humanity through the bare primitive survival instincts the individuals living in the ruins of the world must adapt in order to survive. The fall of civilization presented the survivors the choice of staying within the realms of humanity or to fall the victim to savagery.

I went on the ASL Club’s trip to Gallaudet this year. Though we had to meet early, I was very excited to experience a new place that had a culture all its own. The trip up to Gallaudet was uneventful, but the moment we arrived on campus, everything interesting. The campus was absolutely beautiful and I wanted to explore it. Before we toured the campus, we went to get food.
