They started the Iditarod race after World War II and it has been annual ever since. In Alaska it is part of its rich culture and people watch and talk about it every year. So most of the pros are its history and how much people love it in Alaska. People come out from all over the world to watch the race and enjoy the scenery. It is a bigger commercial event then the Super Bowl in the Unites States.

In Los Angeles alone, 72,800 are euthanized each year; if you break that number down, that means about 200 helpless pit bulls are euthanized each day, however if you would rather look at the bigger picture, in the U.S., 728,000 pit bulls are euthanized in just one year. Numbers like these are immensely horrid especially if you are an animal lover. Research was found to try to notify and persuade people into taking action in the spaying and neutering of their animals, eliminating animal abuse as well as dog fighting.

Animals all over the world are being abused every single day most of them will not make it to see tomorrow or have the love of a family they desire. Animals are not just objects used for your entertainment or for your sports but they are meant to either be wild or to be loved by a family who will not abuse them. You should not abuse them or abandoned them to fend for themselves when all they need is a little bit of love to make them happy. There are many sports that use particularly dogs and most of them are called dog fights which are used for your entertainment and they abuse the dogs to make them fear humans and other dogs. Dogs should not be afraid of other dogs but they should be able to cooperate with each other and have a family that will not abuse them and make the fight.
