In the “Story of an hour” doctors say that her death was from a heart disease, but one could say she didn’t. She stated” She loved him sometimes” she didn’t truly love her husband. When she heard about his death she was having mixed emotions, but she cried at first. Then she was filling a kind of freedom. The readers may not believe that it was the heart disease that killed her, but yet it was the shocked and disappointment of seeing her husband alive. Mrs. Mallard lived with a very well known man Brently Mallard. She had a heart disease, but she was very young and felt trapped in her marriage. Mrs. Mallard heard about her husband’s death from her friend Josephine. His name was the first under death in the newspaper.
