When hating someone, you might think that you will hate them for life and never get close to them; but try to acknowledge the fact that there is a chance of you either marrying that person you hate or having a lot in common, perhaps even suitable personalities. Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare is a play about love, hate, judging people and wit. When we first saw lovely Beatrice in the play, she made fun of guys a lot; we never thought she would get married nor find love owning to the fact that she was contrary toward love. For instance, the time Claudio accused Hero of sleeping with other guys including calling Hero a prostitute in front of everyone, Beatrice had enough; she knew Hero was innocent for the fact that she spent every night in Hero’s room for the past 12 months. So, Beatrice did what people in the old days used to do. She used her love for blood. She commanded Benedick to kill the one responsible for Hero’s broken heart, Claudio, saying “ kill Claudio” and “ you kill me to deny it.” ( 4.1.283 ) Benedick couldn’t hesitate to execute that offer Beatrice made considering how much he loves her, he would do anything in the world for her. This demonstrates how strong love can be either in romance or in family. Benedick tried to challenge Claudio, but the fight never happened. Finally, after all this hate and love between these two lovebirds, Beatrice and Benedick, they get married. Benedick asks Beatrice to marry him, then she quotes “ I would not deny you; but, by this good day I yield upon great persuasion, and partly to save your life, for I was told you were in a consumption”.( 5.4.97-100 ). This quote wraps up the whole “ Beatrice’s love”. Beatrice’s love lock has finally unlocked by the one who got the keys, benedick. When Beatrice said that, she really loved benedick, but she didn’t want to lower her standards, so she said that she will be with him for his own
