Muhammad Ali MVP Research Project Three time heavyweight champion, Olympic gold medalist, Golden Glove champion, and kind hearted. This is Muhammad Ali, the Louisville Lip. Muhammad is known for his great skills in the ring, but many people don’t know what he does out of the ring. So being known as the greatest boxer of all time, being motivational, and visiting hospitals are just a couple things Muhammad did in his lifetime. Ali is widely known as the greatest boxer of all time. “During Muhammad’s amateur boxing career he had one-hundred wins and only eight losses.” Also during this time he became the golden glove champion, as well as an Olympic gold medal winner. “When Muhammad reached his pro career, he started off hot not losing a single fight,” and immediately got his shot at the championship. …show more content…

Persevering through the doubt and beating Liston so badly that he gave up at the beginning of the seventh round. He continued his hot streak and seemed unbeatable, only losing a couple of times in his pro career, “he was the first boxer to win the heavyweight championship on three separate occasions.” Given that he was known as the greatest boxer of all time, he inspired many with his great skill inside the boxing ring. One of his most famous quotes is “Don't count the days, make the days count”. This states that instead of focusing on how many days you have, try your best to focus on doing your best on the days left. Also one of his famous sayings is “So often we let life pass by as we struggle to get a good grip on things”. This saying helps people realize that life is short, they don't have time to wait to feel
