I think Mrs. Wilson fulfills her duties in more way than one. Being the PR manager of The Multotec group worldwide is a great achievement and it is something to be proud of. Regarding the literature, Mrs. Wilson can improve on her relationship with the media worldwide. The overall conclusion of the study was that public relations and marketing professionals need to be equipped to handle social media otherwise there will be no good publicity for the company (Anon, 2009). One of Mrs. Wilson’s main goal is to get Multotec the good publicity they deserve. PR professionals are taking the lead over marketing and other departments in managing an organization’s use of social media communications channels. And when searching for and hiring PR practitioners, social media skills are nearly as important as traditional media relations skills (Anon, 2009). Public relations takes into consideration the bigger picture of how an organization relates and is perceived by the public at large (Anon, 2016). Multotec has a great relationship with all their media contacts through the world and they know what the media wants. A good public relations strategy can not only help a company understand its customers and provide meaningful solutions, but track those results and often forecast outcomes for future circumstances. PR can affect community behavior – sometimes even more so than advertising (Anon, 2016). Multotec has a great strategy in place to keep the customer
