Murder of James Craig Anderson-1
The hate crime case involving the death of an afro-American James Craig Anderson was a unique case. The crime was unique because of the circumstances of how it all occurred and what exactly brought about the death of Mr. Anderson. This case had all three ingredients, to be able as a hate crime. There racial profiling, stereotyping, and the most famous one of them all prejudice against another race.
The case occurs in the capitol of Mississippi which Jackson, and it involves several white males who were member of a white racist group. Here we have an innocent bystander not bothering anyone and all of sudden out of nowhere his life is taking away by individual who in my mind were racist. What also I find unique about the whole situation is that these individual had already made up in their mind that they were going to target someone, per the statement in which one of the individual made “Let's go fuck with some niggers."

They reopened the situation later and examine it as a civil rights matter. The investigation also pointed out some key factor in this case that helps them with their final ruling. Some of the evidence in which they gather form the incident was a surveillance video from the camera in the parking lot of the actual
