The word Purdah means curtain or veil. Purdah is a religion and social practice of women seclusion among the Muslim and Hindu, which restricts women’s movements whether they are inside or outside their own home. Sometimes Purdah also means the veiling that women wear under the rules of Purdah (Purdah. (n.d.).). In tradition, most Muslim females follow Purdah practice. However, under the globalization, people always argue about Purdah practice. Though People feel like the Purdah culture restricts women’s rights and freedom, Purdah represent a culture of Muslim. Defending for Purdah practice is a respect for Muslim people. Most of Muslim female do not think wearing veil deprived their rights, in the contrast, they think this is a way to express their identity. For example, ABC news made an interviewed with a Muslim female who lived in the American southwest. One of the ladies, who are 30 years old, she tells the reason that why she wears veil and does not feel the veil restricted her rights. She believes that the creator had their own reason to set up this rule for females. She feels closer to the god and has protection when she follows the Purdah practice (A. (2010). On June 9,1998, during an MTA Class for children, Hadrat Mirzā Tāhir Ahmadrh pointed out that if kids meet with their friends with veil, they will call them foolish, mad and idiotic.
