My First Coming To America

When I first came to America to continue my high school study , I met a pastor from the local Chinese church.He is really kind and friendly to me, just like my grandfather.Last Christmas, we went to the Winter Conference in Kansas City, Missouri.I saw a great number of Chinese who believed in God gathered together to share their spiritual life.This is the first time that I have a understanding about God.I was touched but still irresolute to be a believer.So I started to read Bible, join the fellowship on Fridays and come to the Sunday School.The more I know about Him, the more I want to become a part of His children.As a result, I was baptized in March of this year. I am so glad that I am saved and have a relationship with God through His Son—Jesus. Also, life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can.As a student, I was a member of the band; to begin with, I chose flute for some reasons. One significant reason is that it kind of looks like the Chinese traditional instrument made from bamboo.
