“I believe the scriptures is true and that heaven and hell is real. I believe that the way to the Kingdom and to see Jesus is through salvation.” E.K Taylor
When we grow up, we are taught many things. One of those things, which is the beliefs and values of our families and our religious experiences. However, we do not always understand those beliefs and many take issue with some of them. I have listed my creedal statement below:
• I believe in God the Creator.
• I believe Jesus, God's Son (fully God and fully human), conceived and born of the virgin Mary, died on the Cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will come again in glory to judge us all.
• I believe in the Holy Spirit, whose role is an indwelling …show more content…

I know who He is and I accept who the Scriptures reveal Him to be. However, I find myself with the struggle as to, "Why God allows bad things to happen to good people?" I have an issue with dying. I struggle with the problem of evil and abuse in this world. I sometimes even have an issue with, Jesus is God incarnate, meaning if Jesus is God in the flesh, has anyone ever seen God face to face? Jesus came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.” Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.” Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” I at times may be like Thomas and need the Lord to show me, but it doesn’t mean I will stop or turn away, I will continue and forever will follow Him. I believe God doesn't mind us testing Christianity like Thomas as long as we can handle the
