As I grew up, I became more curious about these medications. Why do some medicines taste sweet but some don't? How do these medicines work in my body? Then, I started my high school life, but science teachers still didn't talk about the knowledge of medicines. I feel the knowledge that I learned in school is not enough for me, therefore, I decided to do a co-op placement at Rexall pharmacy in order to learn more applied things about medicines. By working in the pharmacy, although I still didn't know how the medicines work, but I have learned the general knowledge about what pharmacists are doing every day. I found that this is an interesting job because I can help many patients every day which makes me fulfilled. So, after my co-op placement, I got hired by Rexall pharmacy as a permanent staff member. If I successful in graduating from the UW School of Pharmacy, I will undertake an additional post-secondary training for certification for disease states such as diabetes or asthma. Then, I will work as most of the pharmacists who work in either a pharmaceutical company or a pharmacy depend on my interests. Since Waterloo has co-op program, it can provide me many opportunities to explore my interests in pharmacy
