It was my last year at Mary Queen of Peace grade school. I meet the best friends of my life, and played sports for my school and played club soccer. My eighth grade year was the year to have fun and be the oldest kids in the school and have kids look up to you for once. It was the year to see what our futures would look like and what we would do with are lives and where we would go for high school. It was the time of my life to make a decision that would depend on the rest of my life. The part where it would be accomplished is when I got my letter or email that I was accepted into De Smet Jesuit. This part of my life would accept me to realize what I am doing with my life. For spring break my family and I went to Gulf Shores. Gulf Shores is in Alabama and we have been going there for the past 5 years. In my family there is my brother Jake, my sister Audrey, and my parents Jeff and Kathy. We take a car down there and meet some friends that go to the same school as us. The restaurants down there are very good and I go golfing with my dad and his friends. We play volleyball in the sand, go to the pool, walk along the beach to the other condos and get ice cream. Sometimes we go play miniature golf and go to an arcade room and play laser tag. We are down there for about a week and have a great time and I hope we keep going there for years to come. During Catholic’s school’s week we have a game thing in the gym, the volleyball game, 8th grade vs the teachers, the parents come to eat lunch at school, dress down every day, and bingo during lunch. During the volleyball game we it was me and my squad the flaming Bobcats we ran the team and won the game for the 8th graders. I was waiting until that moment sense kindergarten and watching the older kids when I was younger made me think of when I will be in their shoes playing the teachers. In the next few weeks of school, we get to find out what play we will do in front of the entire school and parents.
