Being a student of Pembroke High School, my goals have always included striving to excel in my studies, contribute to the community, act as a leader, and always be a person of great integrity and great honor. I believe that if one possesses these qualities, he/she can excel in life and accomplish their dreams.
I was very honored to receive the opportunity to possibly become part of the National Honors Society family as it has always been a primary goal of my high school career. In order to receive this opportunity, I have always pushed myself to succeed in my studies while challenging myself through the use of honors and advanced placement classes. Even though it has been challenging, I have been able maintain a grade point average above my original goal and receive multiple academic awards for my efforts. I plan on continuing to excel in my studies and maintain the best grades possible while balancing sports and other activities.

My family has set a great example for me through owning a business that constantly gives back to the community. Using these values my parents instilled in me, I looked to support Pembroke’s junior varsity golf team through volunteering at multiple events to raise money to reinstate the team. Also, at the beginning of my high school career, I began volunteering at Magical Moon Foundation, an inspiring cancer retreat for children. Seeing the struggles these high-spirited children faced every day urged me help in building a safe, fun environment they could use to escape the frightening reality of their lives.
