My Grandma Sue was a kind, loving, Christian person. She was born in Canada, it 's a fun place to go for on vacation. Then moved to Ludington, Michigan when she was 21. I always had fun going over to her house and going to the nursing home when she was ill. She fed us every time we went to her house to give us energetic bodies and not go hungry. She also was a worker for the Tendercare of Ludington. Most of all, everybody appreciated the worked My Grandma had done everyday. That 's why My Grandma Sue is my Michigan Hero.
When I was little, my sister and I would go over to her house to be babysitter while my parents had to go out of town, work, or needed us to be at someone 's house to not be affected what 's going on with their lives. We would play outside in the play set a lot during the summer and swim when she had put gotten the swimming pool filled with water. Sometimes if we were lucky, the two of us would spend the night at Grandma 's house. She lived in a nice neighborhood. The funniest times were when I was outside, she would bring the cats out I 'd play with them and she and I would chase them around the backyard.
Growing up, I remember a sad moment I had encountered with her. She was outside and 4 pit bulls dug under the fence and started attacking her. The neighbors called 911

4 years, 2 weeks into February of 2016, my Grandma Sue got sick. She wouldn 't eat and drink anything. We knew there was sometime wrong. For the next week, we would stay there 12 hours a day to visit and comfort her while she was dying. Then on a Thursday about 10pm, she had passed away in her sleep. It was one of the saddest moments of my life. It was heart-breaking for one of my family members I had gotten to know over the years and still to this day was gone. It 's still sad that this happened, but my family and I have moved on knowing she is in a better place. She was one of the best examples to know how to live my life the best way I can.
