My earliest interest in airplanes started back in my childhood when I was completely mesmerized by the flying aircraft. As a child, flying paper planes was so fun. But, this amazement was for few seconds as the paper planes tend to fall down after few seconds of flight. But it was a completely different story when compared to the huge aircrafts which were able to maintain their course for a long time without falling to earth. My eagerness to know the reason behind this perpetuated state of aircraft became the stepping stone for my interest. Slowly, with time my interest developed into a passion which I followed with great zeal.
In order to pursue my passion, I did my bachelor’s in aerospace engineering from Indian institute of aeronautical …show more content…

At the undergraduate level, with the exposure to good professional laboratories, workshops and aero-labs my interest reached a new height. My courses at the undergraduate level provided me with an impregnable and across-the-board background in aerospace technology that kept me up to date with the latest technological developments. With time, I developed my interest in aerodynamics, aircraft structures and aircraft design.
My urge to gain knowledge about aircraft was not limited to academics; I also took part in Aeromodelling. Through Aeromodelling, my perception of the aircraft structures and various forms of airfoil became quite explicit. I believe classroom studies should not only be limited to the books or theories, but it is just as important to know how to apply these theories and use data in the real world. Amid the rigorous academic …show more content…

During that time, I studied properties of various materials and process applied in manufacturing the thrust chamber of a rocket engine. I had the opportunity to observe Cryogenic rocket engine and Vikas rocket engine. I worked under Mrs. Tejaswani Katkar Manager Method’s department GPS, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. Under her guidance, I learnt to prepare process sheets for different rocket engine components. During that time, my experience of using CAD software was enhanced. I successfully completed my In-plant project on ‘To Study and Analyse Different Cooling Techniques for Spacecraft Engines’. I was fortunate to have a glimpse of BrahMos missile
