My Major Accomplishments

Over the years, it has been my major aspiration to help bridge the gap of injustice and inequality in the American education system and to help in producing exceptional leaders. This is the reason why I want to join the fraternity of Texas urban teachers who are working passionately to unearth the academic potentials in our kids. Moreover, my passion for the teaching work keeps on increasing day by day and being a part of the Dallas residency programs is a major opportunity for career development. This is because I am a person who advocates for equality among kids, irrespective of their race, tribe, sex and their religious background. Therefore, joining the Dallas residency program, will give me the necessary coaching and mentorship that will boost up my passion and love for helping kids to achieve their goals in life.

One major accomplishment in my career as an urban private school teacher was in the year 2010 at Best way International School and John Williams Montessori School in 2012. These schools were known for their abysmal performance in social studies and mathematics in the middle school department. However, they later developed into one of the best because of my comprehensive teaching techniques. This improvement of students' performance was as a result of regular homework and weekly practice test. Interestingly, 99% of students who wrote my paper in the final WAEC exams scored a grade of A and only 1% had a grade of B, constituting a 100%. Also, in John William Montessori, even though, I came to the United States two weeks earlier before their finals, they still came out with distinctions. They had 98% A's and 2% B's, constituting a 100% pass.
