Since my early years of learning English grammar was my harder topic in the English language. I have an area in the English grammar that are easier to me and some that are harder, some come more intuitive than other areas. In some part, I feel confident and some I’m self-daunting.
It feels harder to be confident when English is your second language and not being exposed to constant listening to the language which in the right environment (proper speaking people in the surrounding) help to acquire the proper way of speaking and later on writing.
After listening very closely (had to go back a few times) to the Grammar Girl broadcast, and got the book (for reading proposes) “Grammar Girl's 101 Misused Words You'll Never Confuse Again” from author Mignon Fogarty, I internalized that we all make mistakes even those who grow up on the English language, and I shouldn’t be them in my mistakes. better people them me made mistakes. saying that does

I will have to go over the mistakes in Grammar Girl and identify my mistakes there, it might also refresh my memory on my own. It is important to use the right word for better communication. It easier to fix if when we write than when we talk. Some misused word that I identify as my misused are: alright. All right, already, all ready, fewer, less, flair, flare, of, off, turn off, forward, forward, hangar, hanger, hilarious, hysterical, historic, historical, I, me, inflammable, flammable, lie, lay, lend, land, loose, lose, me, myself, pique, pick. All those words were misused by me at one point or another mainly by speaking them less by writing. However, by listening to the broadcast and by reading the book I realize my misused and made more conscious of the speaking word. Grammar is the foundation for good and effective communication skills, by improving my grammar I will become a more efficient
