This semester I also learned how to word rules with right way more and how to be specific with procedures. I made a mock classroom policy about a year ago and after that lesson I made modifications to it. I got excited because it was part of our discipline 2, and I got more feedback on which I need another eye to look at for me. I took the comments and made more to policy and proud of my end product.
For example, because my discourse is more of a family than a community it has taught me that: even though you will come across people that you don’t like or get along with you still need to treat them with respect. Also, that you will come across classes where you will have to work together, just like in stage crew and there is more than one way to get your work done. Secondly, when in groups or having to deal with other individuals, they are human beings and will be different from you. But you cannot let other students walk all over you; and if you need to talk to a teacher it has taught me how to be assertive in my needs and wants. Without this skill, school would be much more difficult because without communication skills, you will fail.

So far I think my classes are at it's greatest, all of my grades are B's or higher except for Cultural Geography. I think I'm doing well in my classes, at the moment I'm only failing one class and so that leaves me having to work a lot harder in that particular class. The reason why I think I'm doing well in those classes is because they're not as hard as Cultural Geography is, I tend to work at my best when I'm either listening to my favorite music or when everything is dead silent. In terms of my ability to analyze complex text, write, critically think, and discuss, I most certainly possess both areas of strength and weakness. One assignment that I know encompassed and assessed my ability to display all of these skills was my 10th grade English course’s final socratic seminar on the Syrian Refugee Crisis.
