I do not have an overview of the minority group of people in China, and know little about minority group communication rules. Then I saw School of Journalism and Mass Communication is offering a course named Communication and Minorities. This course extremely fits my career goal and is not open in any other universities. Furthermore, UW has a summer internship project with SSCG Media (New York), which is one of my dream companies in America. She focuses on global health care communications and I am concerned about peoples’ welfare in China where minorities generally lack professional knowledge about keeping fitness.
