During the time of the 1650’s the Americas were not a part of what is now the United States and other countries in Central America and as well as the Caribbean. During those years European countries who were dominate in exploring the world and conquering new lands were the British, Spanish, French and the Dutch. The world economy was greatly impacted by the production of goods the Americas could provide Europe and even parts of Asia. The America’s were rich in materials that could not be made vastly, like the production of cotton, crops, tobacco and as well as natural gems like gold and silver that would increase wealth of the country who was exploring the region at the time. I can only see the residual affect of love from within the family I belong. To me, other love is invisible and incomprehensible as I measure it to the type I am so familiar with. Loneliness was a big thing in the book Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, especially with the characters George, Curley 's wife, and Crooks. In the book, Crooks showed he was lonely, Curley 's wife actually admitted she was lonely, and in George 's actions he was lonely. Crooks didn’t have anyone who was equal to him, George didn’t have anyone he related too, and Curley’s wife just couldn’t talk to anyone. They were all lonely in different ways. If you see a lonely person, make an effort to talk to them, no matter if they’re a different skin, if they are a different gender, or if you don’t even relate to them.

In todays world, society does not look at the individuals that isolate themselves from the outside world. Those individuals may see some benefits, but they also see some negative effects to isolating themselves. Famine struck our resources which resulted in our nations exploration voyages. Eventually, the Kingdom received word of a new land that our Heavenly Father blessed upon us. The returning sailors would tell the townspeople that they followed the beam of the Sun shining through the crevice of thick ominous clouds while noticing an acclivity below it in the distant waters. They continued sailing until it amassed into an expanse of their entire field of vision. What they described was a divine and fruitful sight sent by God himself, and they swore that whoever goes there would forget all their woes.
