There are two purpose in this research. The first, to explain the racial stereotypes in the My Name is Khan movie. The second, to know My Name is Khan movie can apply to students character building. From this movie the researcher found five racial stereotypes, the first, conversation between Sameer and his friend. His friends said that Sameer is Osama son because his step father is a Muslim. The second, Inspector Gracia says the cause her son death may have been racial attack. The third, conversation between Khan and Mandira. Mandira blame her wedding with Khan because he is a Muslim. So it cause her son death. The fourth, Khan must be proved and meet the President to says “Mr President My Nam is Khan, and I am not a terrorist. The last, there is a chasier that says about insident at WTC it cause a muslim. After analyzed the racial stereotypes and than the researcher found five pillars of character building in this movie too. The first character is trustworthiness, the scene that show about trustworthiness is Khan convey the messsage from airport security to say “Howdy”. The lead actor Shah Rukh Khan and lead actress Kajol . The movie tell about Rizvan Khan, a muslim man that suffering Asperger’s syndrome. Although Khan suffering a syndrom but Khan is special, he is clever and genius. He is started his journey when his mother died and then Khan meet her brother Zakir in San Fransisco. In there Khan get a lot of love lessons. How to survive on a new place, how to survive when many people who was hostile. But Khan can get through it all with work hard and proof himself as a muslim. And of course also the story of his love with Mandira. Khan shows that of a difference can be harmony. So from this movie is many moral value which can apply in everyday
