Looking back on this poetic journey, I must have favorites. Like picking a favorite dog it is hard to choose but I must pick "The Skillful Sport". It came very naturally to me and I found it very fun to write about the sport I love. The intended effect of my poetry could be described as variety. I wanted to have a range of poetic styles to use. The writing process was very different for me in poetry than it is for regular writing. in poetry its a mindset that you must be in to be capable of producing quality work. if you aren't in that mindset things such as flow won't wrap up your work.
