Animals Are Awesome

Some changes can cause sadness in our lives, but having a friendly pet by your side can help overcome that change. Every new experience can make a person change; sometimes the change is positive, and other times change is negative. Either way, there is no way avoiding change. Animals are unique, cute, and caring sometimes.
In the story, My Story, by Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson, it shows the love he has for unique animals. The author shares how the horse in the stable would go “Berserk, she would rear, and constantly jump around and prance (Grandin and Johnson, pg 160, pp9).” The horse was one of the abused horses that stood out. This experience impacted the author because he wishes for the horses to be together, happy and have kids ride them, while the animals would jump around and kick. In this story, there is a dog named Marley that isn’t obedient at all, yet his owner keeps him, but later on he started to get weaker and weaker, “Marley mellowed, and sleeping became his favorite pastime. By the end, his hearing was shot, his teeth were gone, his lips riddled with arthritis he barely could stand (Grogan, pg 150, pp 12).“ Marley was dying, the author was writing on how he was looking, all his senses dulled. Marley was dumb but cute, he was a dog who wasn’t obedient but was good. Animals will go away soon but they will always be very caring to
