When I Went To Florida I went to Florida after 4th grade in the summer. When we went to Florida, Jaxon my sisters, brother came with us. The night before we left he stayed at my house. When we left the next morning we left at 3:00 A.M. While we were on our way we both had to sit in the very back of the car because my sisters came with us. The ride there was not fun at all.
Time. 10:19 p.m. South Florida. The traffic light rests at red for an eternity, mocking me with its condescending gaze. I quickly turned my head both directions, not a car in sight for what it seemed to be miles.
When I was a child the world never seemed to stretch beyond my home town Tallahassee Florida. Through my young eyes it was so massive and expansive that I couldn’t fathom the concept of their possibly being areas existing outside of it. Out of all of the areas of Tallahassee I was familiar with, I was familiar with my neighborhood the most. I lived in a reddish-brown brick house that had a dark Oakwood colored roof on it. Up until the mid-2000’s the house was very dark to the presence of dark colored paint on the house and was often covered by spiders.
Counting down time packing up clothes in about ten minutes we would be going to Corpus Christi Texas. My sister and I were born. We lived there until I was a year old and until my sister was four. Then when we arrived we would go see my uncle Mike.
In August of 2013, my dad moved to Florida. For the longest time, he kept me in the dark about the issues he had with his money. He still has never told me directly that he was in debt; the only reason I know is because I overheard my sister talking to her boyfriend about it. He moved to Florida to manage a warehouse for his nephew’s beauty company, JacoSpa. I have understood and seen the black people faced many hardships when it came to their daily living before the civil right movement. In the “ The Color Purple “ movie Celie and her sister Nattie were not allowed to go to school, where on the second movie, Akeelah stand out by representing African American children’s via joining the competition for spelling Bee. If I could be anywhere right now I would choose to be on the beach in Florida. I would be in Fort Myers Beach, Florida because that is my favorite place to visit in Florida. When I visit Florida I enjoy laying around the pool and going to the beach. Florida is my ideal place for relaxation, it clears my head. I always have a hard time saying goodbye to Florida because I always have such a great time when I visit.
The trip to Florida. Orlando to be exact. We had been planning this trip for a while. My whole family hopped in the new car we bought about a month ago. It was already beginning to look like the car we had before.

After weeks of torturous homework, exams and assignments, high school was finally over! Summer holidays here I come! My family got plane tickets to Miami Florida. The land of beaches, sun and fun. We are heading to the airport in three hours.
It all started on a summer day, I went to nags head beach with my family. We got a big beach house with my whole family and a few friends. This was about 4 years but it feels like it was just the other day. We went at the very end of the summer. It was still nice and warm outside.
The Most Memorable Vacation A memorable vacation is one that you can never forget. I never thought I would build houses for poor people. It was one of my most memorable experiences in my life. What made it even more memorable was the fact it was my first time to go to a foreign country to help other people build houses.
