During my time at the Haskayne School of Business I plan to become more sociable through building my leadership and networking skills while insuring I maintain personal integrity, creativity, and flexibility as I strive to advance my character. To achieve my vision statement using my strengths will be necessary in growing my noted weaknesses into strengths. I plan to use my outgoing nature to help me become more sociable by becoming active in the school events allowing me to meet new people and explore new ideas. Confidence is a skill I hold that will help me achieve my vision as it will help me network myself and create relationships. I am very open minded, allowing me to facilitate groups of individual ideas into one collective idea. Distractions have always something that have hurt my goals as I tend to get off topic and am unable to go back to work for a substantial amount of time, this coinciding with procrastination are weaknesses I will need to grow in order to become a leader. A weakness I have identified is that I have tunnel vision in the sense that when I have an objective I only focus on that goal and not the side objectives. Without fixing this attribute I will be unable to see opportunities that I am offered and will not expose myself to different networks. I must also overcome the adversity of concern, as I often feel as if people are not doing enough work I must do the work myself leading to enhanced stress and pressure being put on myself.
