In my own world, I have learned that I'm not the same person that I used to be. Before, my world view used to be boring, but after I came to Canada my life has changed into a better one. For example, In the past, I used to know only about my religion, which is Islam, but Canada taught me about the other religions in our world and how I have to respect them and treat them in a respectful way. After I read the first nine chapters of The Indian Horse novel, I learned that Indigenous people are also referred to as Aboriginal people and that Indigenous people have been in Canada since time immemorial.
