How do natural characteristics of Canada influence human activity, and how might human activity influence Canada’s natural characteristic? Canada is the second largest country in the world, its landform region has a large range from the lowlands to mountains. This characteristic make the country extremely extraordinary among other countries. However, the great natural characteristic also creates a huge impact on the way of life for Canadian. Examples of influences to human from natural characteristic can be the Canadian population distribution, economy, farming.
Those who don’t live or have ever been may think that Canada is a country that is not diverse maybe even monocultural, that Canada is flat full of only farmland and rural towns, that we live lives fueled by hockey and that is all that Canada is. In reality every Canadian knows it is much more it is diverse, scenic and urban. In the essay “My Canada” by Anita Rau Badami she said this about Canada “the country had been doing a slow dance for me over the nine years that I had lived here, showing me tantalizing little bits of itself every now and then.” The quote by Badami says that Canada has little charms spread throughout the country, such as the vastness and natural beauty of Lake Louise and all National Parks. Festivals in Edmonton which displays Canadian culture and a variety of other cultures from around the earth.
The standard of living is one of the highest in the world, it welcomes new immigrants, and there are many personal freedoms which are questioned in other parts of the world. Here, there is a Charter of Rights and Freedom that protects our individual rights. This charter, which came to be in 1982, is the basis of our Canadian society. It lays down the law, so that the limitations can be seen. Other countries also have similar documents, but Canada's has some unique qualities.
Canada has had several things that have made it a good country to live in. In the first half of the twentieth century, Canada fought in many battles during the World Wars that had a positive impact on the world. On top of that, there are many Canadians that made notable changes in Canada and the rest of the world. Lastly, Canadians have created technologies that are very important to the way we live today. After looking at these factors, it can be said that Canada is a country that its citizens should be proud of.
In the short story “The Catbird Seat,” the author James Thurber develops verbal, dramatic, and situational irony by his plot structure. In the beginning of the story Mrs. Barrows says phrases like “Are you tearing up the pea patch?” Right after that an employee explains to Mr. Martin what is means. He says, “‘Tearing up the pea patch’ meant going on a rampage.” That section of the story is verbal irony because Mrs. Burrows is saying phrases she doesn't really mean.
Canada and America are two very different countries. Even though they have a close proximity in terms of borders, they have very little in common. Government, population, culture and landscape are a few examples of these two countries different characteristics. Both countries have unique traits that can’t be found in their North American neighbor, and distinguish them from the other. Hopefully, I’ll be able to point these out.

Plus, it is the only country that lies in their own national anthem “The True North strong and free!” the only free thing being their healthcare because everything else is so overpriced. In the late 1900’s the immigration policies, and multiculturalism was created.
The United States and Canada share many similarities and differences. Both countries were colonized by Europeans at roughly the same time, but now have citizens from not only Europe but all other parts of the world, including native people. Our governments also share many similarities and differences. The United States and Canada are countries with a shared history that both began under British rule.
Canadian individual identity is questioned often because it is so diverse and means something different to each person in Canada. Although there is not a set identity there are many values and beliefs that are owned by all Canadians. To find out what Canadians identity is, one has to take into account what has affected it. The United States is the biggest influence on Canadian identity. The U.S. culture is very similar to Canadians as we are exposed to it all the time in media sources.
Canada is a strong country backed up by even stronger people. The fact that it surpassed the U.S.A, which was considered the 4th best country to live in, shows how much potential this country has with its extraordinary health care services and its fundamental freedoms. It also shows how Canada puts its citizens first above everything else and realizes that it is not perfect, and thus strives to improve its nature, relationships, and lifestyles with
Canada offers free education, healthcare and lastly, it is one of the safest and secure countries in the world. Canada is a great place to live in and one of the greatest reasons is that Canada offers free education to kids from kindergarten to Grade 12. Each province does have certain changes in the there education system but throughout Canada, it is mandatory and free of charge to go to school. The Canadian education system only lets qualified teachers with a university degree to teach in classrooms and classrooms (in public schools) are mixed with boys and girls giving both an equal environment to learn.
