Leadership is nothing new to me. I have always wanted to take initiative in anything I participate in, which is reflected through the different fields I have been involved in. I have participated in one of the most prestigious programs in the country: the National Youth Leadership Program. Not only that, I upheld my civic responsibilities by being a student judge for this year’s primary election. As well as being an ambassador for After School Matters (ASM), I was recently elected to be the Senn High School Student Body President. My work ethic never depletes and has continued to improve upon every opportunity given including having taken part in numerous internships and community service programs. My job as leader was not just only that, but also to explain to people who walk around the mural what the message and idea behind building the mural is. I am also in National Honor Society (NHS) in which one of its core goals is to transform students into natural leaders. As a student judge, I had to find the every register voters and take care of that specific area. Now, after becoming the Student Body President here at Senn, my duties will be to serve every single student here at Senn by making the kind of Senn student want to see.I am in highly selective program like Chicago Scholars, which helps student with team building and especially to be a great leader by monthly workshop. I am not only a leader outside of the house, but also in my house. I have to care for my little sister by picking her up from school, tutoring her and making sure she has everything she needs. Not only that but also I have to care for her for weeks when my parents go out of state in terms of job or some other family matter. But more importantly I also want to go to Denison because it has my major in it (biology). After my research into this school it makes me interested in Denison. I have visited Denison and I loved the campus.That made me more interested in Denison. Here are the few reason why I want to attend Denison. Denison’s very good academic reputation (98%). Denison’s graduate strong employment outcomes (90%). Denison’s reputation for its social activities (89%).The good impressions formed during a campus visit (89%). Denison’s small size (88%). Denison is also one of the diverse school. Additionally, Denison also has over 170 clubs and some of them are related to biology and pre-medicine and this is important to me because it will let me connect with my major outside of the
