As a prospective member of the Masters of Arts in History program at Liberty University I hope to accomplish several things. I am currently serving as a high school history teacher and this program will benefit both my students and myself alike in the foreseeable future. This includes reaching the goals of earning my master’s degree which will result in a higher level of professional knowledge in my content area, while increasing my income simultaneously. This is not the only positive factor, Liberty’s program will also contribute directly to growth in regards to my relationship with Jesus Christ.
However, I had always told myself that I would someday re enroll, earn a degree, and graduate so that I could be a prime example for my four children as to what never giving up looks like. I believe this college would enable me to earn a degree without taking on a heavy financial burden. In addition, I appreciate the flexible structure of programs which would fit into my current lifestyle as a busy mom. And, I definitely love the maturer yet diverse environment the school has to offer.
The beauty of the campus and close-knit community I observed was so welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. When touring the campus, the small class sizes and the fact that I wasn’t just a number to a professor was a big plus. Learning more about Jesuit aspect of the university was most impressive to me as I really admire how SCU prepares students with its three pillars of: competence, conscience, and compassion and motivates them to make a difference. I could already tell that this was the place in which not only students but professors and faculty would wholeheartedly support and guide me in pursuing my aspirations. Both my family and I knew that SCU was a home away from home which would: engage, prepare, and encourage me for my next leg of
I am passionate about exploring the unusual, and eclectic , parts of popular culture. NYU was never somewhere I grew up striving for; I had spent so much time thinking that in order to foster my needs as learner, and creator, I needed a "small school. " My preconceived notions of large, and high-achieving academic schools, were completely obliterated as soon as I set foot in Washington Square Park. NYU exemplifies difference, and seemed to embrace every facet of person equally: an extremely diverse campus, an incredible array of clubs and campus-life activities, and individual schools garnering to any students needs.
College is one of the most stimulating stages we experience, it's the very first step as we trail up the ascending staircase to our goals and desires. NYU is the college of my greatest interest as I am aware of the opportunities which this school will provide me with. As a child of immigrants who have come to this country to see their daughter prosper academically, I know that my parents can rest assured that I will be able to explore the wide range of programs which are tailored to students needs. More specifically the field of Neural Science. NYU is one of the schools in New York City with a valued Neural Science Program.
I am applying to NYU because I want to be in a liberal-arts academic environment with limitless opportunity. By applying to NYU’s Stern school of business I firmly believe that I will be given the education necessary to be successful in my field. I am a marketing major and going to a University, such as NYU, that will enable me to learn about the ever-changing technology utilized in my field is vital. I am also incredibly interested in a digital marketing track. Webdesign, app development, and advertisementing are all fields that interest me greatly, however I had little hands-on experience, which I crave and I know NYU can provide me with.
For a long time NYU was the only college I knew existed. I grew up in the Bronx and came to Manhattan to visit my grandparents who owned vintage clothing stores in Greenwich Village. I grew up playing dress-up in the stores alongside the NYU students who were frequent customers. I climbed the jungle gym in Washington Square Park alongside NYU students playing frisbee. When I took walks around the Village with my grandfather, he would point out the students and the different NYU buildings.
It seems that New York University was built for me. The university’s unique campus is spread out around New York City, the greatest city in the world, but even better is what lies inside the campus. Professors that are recognized experts in their fields and an alumni network known for helping students find internships and jobs await prospective NYU students. NYU is unrivaled in its focus to help students expand their borders by offering various opportunities to study abroad and also to explore NYC. The College of Arts and Sciences will best prepare me for my pursuit of a career in medicine.
What captivated me to apply? My answer: it’s New York University!!! NYU is located in the heart of the world and it is “the place” to experience, learn, and meet diverse and open-minded people. Additionally, the institution's global network empowers its students to make an impact in the world and I want to be a part of it. The school’s alumni connections with law firms will facilitate the chance of landing an internship at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
NYU is a research university that furnishes students with assets to do their exploration. New York City is one of the best urban areas where students long for procuring their professional education alongside the city encounter. The area of study that I will seek after is Pharmacy since I want to perceive signs and manifestations of diseases that might be utilized as a part of a biological attack and also, pharmacists enhance prescription adherence. I choose NYU on the grounds that it is one of my dream universities to go to and help the community. I hope to be one of the students from NYU to find a cure and spread the great name of the university.
I am really interested in NYU because I am fascinated in what this university has to offer. I have always seen this University as a great opportunity to be able to connect with many different people and experience a new environment, and culture. I have been living in Denver, Colorado for seventeen years. I have never experience fast pace life and living in the city. It has a great program in Business and I am highly interested in Marketing, being in New York I would be able to network and have opportunities based on my major when attending the University versus if I stay in state I will not be able to do much with my major until after college.
Interacting among community leaders is one thing I never tire of doing. I always look forward to working with children at my local Boys and Girls Club or working within my neighborhood; doing one’s best to make a change. This job teaches me to be patient with people because they came from many backgrounds. My experience has shown me, the University’s obligation lies not solely in challenging its students. But furthermore providing opportunities for those students to challenge themselves and to have an understanding of the many cultural groups at NYU.
From the school’s reputation, the outstanding passing rates, the caring faculty and staff, new and advanced equipment, and untimely the success of the students after graduation, UTMB is not only the school of my dreams but a school I will feel right at
I love Ohio University not only because it's a fantastic school, but because I grew up with it. As a child, my mother pursued her education at Ohio University. While attending her beloved Ohio University, she would often times come home with stories of what she was learning, and as many college students do, great amounts of work to do. My mother was so driven and hard working that she never skipped a beat. It was at this time that I discovered my own drive to succeed and learn, and what better place to do it than where my mother had found her own passion for knowledge, Ohio University.
