Napoleon's Actions Speak Louder Than Words

214 Words1 Pages
Just because someone is a leader doesn’t always mean they have good intentions. Napoleon seemed at first to be a good leader and to make change that was promised by Major. However, as soon as he made the seven commandments and then broke them displayed what type of leader he is. He made it clear Sunday meetings would always be a priority, but later he says that they were “unnecessary” and “a waste of time”. He also enforces too much work but yet does no work himself and involves the animals to engage in trade with neighboring farms. He also puts his “family” at risk. I believe the author was trying to show how people could turn at any point and there intentions are not always what they say. Actions can speak louder than words. Another theme
